Bryndís Thorey is a graphic designer originally from Reykjavík now based in Berlin. With a background in print design and photography, she began exploring AI in 2023, both professionally and as a personal creative tool. While her client work leans toward more naturalistic imagery, her personal projects try to push the boundaries of AI’s potential. In her recent work, she focuses on blending different textures, starting with seemingly more naturalistic images, then layering them with abstract, glitched visuals to create final pieces that embrace the beauty of imperfection and surprise. Her projects have been featured in various magazines and postcards with her works have been sold at C/O Berlin. Bryndís’s prompts and images are featured in Spells Volume 2.
